When you search the CLAMS Catalog you will be invited to try our new Encore Search.
What is Encore?
Based on feedback from our users, CLAMS has added an intuitive, yet powerful search option that includes features common to search engines such as Google, commercial web sites, and social networking sites. It is a new way to search for books, DVDs, digital titles, etc. in the CLAMS libraries. Encore is particularly powerful when you begin with a broad search and want to narrow it down.
Encore integrates the patron’s OverDrive eBook checkouts and holds into “My Account” and allows access to articles from Gale General OneFile, an online reference resource provided through the state.
For more details please visit out Help Page.
There are lots of interesting and fun programs scheduled for adults and children at local CLAMS Member libraries over the coming months. Check out the CLAMS calendar and/or the CLAMS Facebook events page to see what’s happening or, check with your local CLAMS library.
Read the full description of the event to find out if a ticket or pre-registration is required.
Who doesn’t like a discount? Your local CLAMS library may offer free- to-you, or discounted passes for: museums, art centers, and more. Check the online list and visit your library’s website for more information. Libraries will vary in selection, reservation, and lending policies.
