Can I save reminders of items I want to request in the future from session to session?

Yes, there are two ways to save items to your account for later access. In both options you must be logged into your account.
Option 1 – My Lists
1. Go to the CLAMS Catalog: http://library.clamsnet.org/
2. Login to “My Account” with your username (or barcode) and PIN (Password).
3. Enter search terms and click the “Search” button.
4. When you find the title you want to save to your list, click on the “Save to My Lists” icon.
5. You will be prompted to choose an existing list or create a new list. Name your list, provide a description if desired, and click “Submit”.
6. A confirmation message will appear in red text. Click the “Back” button to return to your search results and add additional titles if desired.

The titles you save this way will be available to you the next time you log in to “My Account” and click on “My Lists”.

A link to “Request” will be provided next to the titles for your convenience.

Option 2 – Preferred Searches
1. Go to the CLAMS Catalog: http://library.clamsnet.org/
2. Login to “My Account” with your username (or barcode) and PIN (Password).
3. Enter search terms and click the “Search” button.
4. Then to save this search, click on the button labeled “Save as Preferred Search”. This will now be saved on your record as a “preferred search” until you delete it from your list.
To retrieve your Preferred Search(es), go to “My Account”, and then click on “Preferred Searches”.  You can execute your Preferred Search by clicking on the word Search at the far right. Once you have done a search, you can place a request on the resulting title.

You can save up to 50 “Preferred Searches” in My Account.
