Why does the Request button fail to appear in some cases?

If none of the individual items on the title are eligible to fill a request, the Request button does not appear. Reasons for an item being ineligible to fill a request include (but are not limited to):

  • Item is marked In Repair
  • Item is marked Missing
  • Item is Temporarily Unavailable
  • Item is Billed
  • Item is Lost & Paid
  • Item is Claims Returned

If you are interested in obtaining an item for which the Request button does not appear, contact staff at your local library to pursue obtaining the item by Interlibrary Loan, or fill out a Purchase Suggestion form.
